Boston Area Physics Calendar

The Boston Area Physics Calendar is on hold for the summer of 2026. You can send announcements directly to the mailing list subscribers by emailing bapc-late@cosmos.phy.tufts.edu. Starting fall 2026, the will be maintained by an automatic system hosted at Google using the interface below.

Posting notices

The Boston Area Physics Calendar is sent out each week on Thursday afternoon by e-mail. Each calendar contains listings for the week beginning the following Sunday. To submit an event, email bapc.submit@gmail.com with subject line "Create" and the details of the event in the message body. The automated system understands the following fields: 
Date:
Time:
Location: 
Event: 
Speaker:
Title:
Abstract:
The "Event" header is for events are part of a series, e.g. "Colloquium". Unrecognized headers and any other text becomes a note to the event. You can use this for URLs, Zoom info, etc. Here is an example listing: 
Date: January 1, 1970
Time: 12:00pm
Location: Erewhon
Event: Sample Talks
Speaker: John Q. Sample
Title: Much Ado About Nothing

Receiving the calendar

To subscribe to the e-mail list, or to stop getting messages, click here for the web interface or send a message to bapc-subscribe@cosmos.phy.tufts.edu to subscribe or bapc-unsubscribe@cosmos.phy.tufts.edu to unsubscribe.

If you subscribe to the bapc list, please do not use a vacation auto-reply program unless you configure it to respond only to messages sent to you, not those sent to mailing lists that you are on. Otherwise I get a notice every time something is sent to the list when you are on vacation. Email me for advice on how to configure such programs.
